If you’re trying to reduce the noise on your audio, you may want to play around with the dehummer effect. As the name suggests, it will remove some of the hum from your audio!

The DeHummer effect can be found under Effects > Noise Reduction / Restoration. The pop-up looks like this:

I played around with the presets and chose what I thought worked best with my audio and ended up selecting at 50 Hz and Harmonics setting. My audio now has visibly less sound! See for yourself:

Adobe Audition Dehummer

Luckily, Audition comes with a built-in Dehummer, which can quickly eliminate those distracting drones. Just choose 'Effects' 'Noise Reduction/Restoration' 'Dehummer' to load the effect. Then, select a preset that matches your power source.
